God has been guiding First Church every step of the way and now, we are stepping boldly into what comes next.

From our beginnings in 1870, gathering in a blacksmith shop, to building, growing, and faithfully serving our community here in Winchester and Frederick County. In 1996, we planted seeds for the future by purchasing land on Apple Pie Ridge Road. Over the years, through prayer, discernment, and faithful leadership, that vision has taken shape - leading us to this moment.

Now, in 2026, we are launching the Planting Love, Growing Community Capital Campaign to bring that vision to life, building a new church home where worship, outreach, and connection can flourish for generations to come.

This is not just a building project, it is a faith journey.

As we move forward together, several meaningful milestones are planned:

  • April 10, 11, & 12: Campaign Information Meetings (Email us to sign up!)
  • May 2026: Commitment Gatherings
  • June 7, 2026: Prayer Service at Apple Pie Ridge
  • September 13, 2026: Groundbreaking Celebration at our Apple Pie Ridge Road campus
